Please note the relevant information below, in regard to this Sunday’s round of rep matches. Note the following:

• All matches have been scheduled for turf-wicket venues
• All players will need to have spikes as well as their rubber-soled cricket shoes
• Spikes are strongly encouraged as they offer greater traction and will assist the players from slipping
• All players are to provide a small plate for afternoon tea
• Players to arrive by 9:15am for a 10:00am start
• All players are to submit $5 to pay for the central umpire

The following venues have been fixtured for our matches in round 2:

◾ U18/17 – GCA Renegades v. CDCA – Western Oval, (Geelong West CC)
◾ U16/15 ‘A’ – GCA Stars v. BPCA Pirates – Friers Reserve (Guild St. Mary’s CC)
◾ U16/15 ‘A’ – GCA Renegades v. CDCA – St. Joseph’s College 1, (St. Joseph’s CC)
◾ U16/15 ‘B’ – GCA Stars v. BPCA Buccaneers – Burdoo Reserve, (Grovedale CC)
◾ U16/15 ‘B’ – GCA Renegades v. CDCA – Spring Creek Reserve, (Torquay CC)
◾ U14/13 ‘A’ – GCA Stars v. BPCA Pirates – Winter Reserve 1 (East Belmont CC)

There is some slight rain forecast for Sunday. The weather forecast will be monitored through the course of the week, leading up to Sunday. In the event of wet weather, an announcement will be placed on the GJCA website (and this FB page) by 7:30pm, Saturday night, to indicate the possibility of play on turf or on a hard-wicket. Reserve hard-wicket venues will be scheduled and announced on the web, if it is deemed too wet for turf-wicket cricket. Please monitor the website for these updates.
